View and Perception

View and Perception

Vary, modify, adjust;

alter, amend,

revolt if you must.

For the sake of survival,

avoid assumption arrival,

allow for change in your perception.

Our existence often manifests unlike our imagined expectation.

Inspecting life from another angle initially results in fear and hesitation;

this malignant response is an exponential restraint…

Revisit, review, realign;

revise, analyse, optimise:

buzzwords uttered by a careless King;

ruler of a shattered Kingdom.
view and perception

One’s outlook

is a matter of perspective

however, seemingly not advertised,

evidently elective…

Look at things from the inside out,

from the outside in,

from beyond the line that doesn’t exist…

An astonishing view – not to be missed!

View and Perception - Elephant's Eye

Thank you for taking the time to read my work. Any comments are welcome – I appreciate your input.

The image is my property – please do not reproduce. Taken from within a cave, Elephant’s Eye, on the Silvermine hiking trail in Fish Hoek, South Africa (not far from Cape Town). View and Perception, indeed. If you’re ever in that area, that view is something you need to see in your lifetime!

    Soul searching words… short and to the point. It’s amazing how just a single word can start a chain of reflective thoughts – thank you.
